Farah Soltani | Small Sculpture Series
Born and raised in Tehran, Farah Soltani is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting, video, writing, and installation. Educated at the American University in Dubai and at New York University Abu Dhabi, where she earned her MFA with honors, Soltani has exhibited internationally across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
In her Small Sculpture Series, Soltani translates the dynamic language of her larger sculptural works into intimate, collectible forms. Each piece emerges from a process of improvisation, where line becomes structure, gesture transforms into color, and movement finds balance in space.
Vibrant and playful, these sculptures invite close observation. Their shifting interplay of light, shadow, form, and color reveals new perspectives from every angle, creating small universes of energy and contemplation. Designed to inhabit the quiet corners of everyday life, they bring a sense of curiosity, rhythm, and joy into living spaces.
