On behalf of Barvinskyi Gallery, we are honored to invite you to The secret hour, a solo exhibition by Alessandro del Pero opening this June in Venice. Curated and organized by our gallery at Spazio Malvasia, this presentation runs parallel to the artist's current show in Vienna, expanding the ongoing dialogue surrounding Del Pero's paintings.

The exhibition title references a radical suspension of sequential time, exploring the concept of temporal liminality. It isolates that thin sliver of experience where normal progression halts, moving away from standard, clock-measured routine into a private vacuum of reflection. This concept draws on the philosophical trope of the "twenty-fifth hour"—an extra, hyper-compressed interval that emerges only when daily structures and societal masks fail, forcing an immediate encounter with the self.
