We’re thrilled to welcome Rachel Lea Seburn, a talented Canadian transdisciplinary artist, to our Soon Art Studio Artists in Residency program!

With an MFA from the University of Georgia (2023), Rachel works in various mediums including sculpture, painting, and installation. Her work has been showcased at the Vancouver Art Gallery and other notable venues, and she has a permanent public artwork in Downtown Prince George.

A vital part of Vancouver’s underground arts scene, Rachel co-founded the P**s Factory and the Coral Plaza Arts Society. As a sculpture educator, she focuses on collaborative projects and co-runs the with her twin sister Sarah Lynn Seburn, as well as the Temporary School with art educator Lisa Novak.

Now in Brooklyn, we can’t wait to see what Rachel’s creativity will bring to our space.

Her exhibition will be on August 28th.

Jack Kelly is an interdisciplinary artist from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. With a spontaneous and intuitive approach to his art-making, he produces diverse works by engaging with subjects, concepts, and materials. His motivation lies in capturing fleeting experiences within both digital and physical realms, while also exploring the interplay between the viewer and the creator.
