Balaklava Museum - Urlwin Park and Centenary Hall The Balaklava Museum has been around since 1972. We have two sites Urlwin Park and Centenary Hall. from 230pm at both sites Or by appointment. $5 Entry.

Open Saturday mornings from 930am come to Urlwin Park and we can organise a tour, and every 2nd Sun.

One of our primary displays in the Balaklava Museum is the Halbury Bank Building. It is in need of extensive repairs due to white ants, weather and rabbits. We are in urgent need of funds for this project. We need to place the Bank onto a concrete slab and also need a roof over the top. This will protect the building long term into the future. We would appreciate your kind donations towards this project. If you are able to help, for donations you can message, ring or come along to the museum on a Saturday morning between 9-11am.

Raising the flag and singing God Save the Queen. This is how the Havesting History afternoon started. Wonderful weather and costumes with both the members of the Community Arts and the museum members dressed up. After the afternoon events we had scones tea and coffee. Lovely afternoon.

What a fantastic afternoon at the Museum. Our past member of the Museum, Norma Schopps daughter Allyson Dutschke presented the museum with 3 books. These 3 books were put together by Allyson from Norma's posts from the Producer, Heritage Highlights, almost 20years of research.These are muchly appreciated again thankyou to Allyson.
