Did you know there are some really exciting things to see and experience at the Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre?

There are some of Monsignor Hawes’ ORIGINAL drawings of some of his iconic buildings…and even the Yalgoo Cup he won riding his horse Babs…so pop in and be immersed, and catch some of the spirit of the incredible Servant of God John Hawes !!

She’s a Woman on a Mission - The Geraldton Blessing of the Fleet statue, The Madonna dell’Acqua, begins her journey from her home at SFX Cathedral to take pride of place in the annual Geraldton BLESSING OF THE FLEET this SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER, 10am to 3pm. The procession of the Madonna and blessing of boats commences at 10:30am - a great Family day for the whole Geraldton community and visitors - see you there🛥️⛴️🚣‍♂️🐠⚓️⛵️🛶 🛳️🎣🎏🚤⚓️🐠⛴️🚢⚓️

Heading to the 2026 Geraldton Blessing of the Fleet? With limited parking available at the event, we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of our FREE Park & Ride service.
For everyone’s safety, pedestrians walking to the event are also asked to follow the designated pedestrian signs and directions around the precinct.
📍 Park & Ride locations: Pages Beach, Sheppards Park & Lot 601
🚌 Buses start at 9:30am
⏰ Running every 15 minutes until 3:00pm
