Saw Dust Art

Saw Dust Art Unique and creative handcrafted items. Hi my name is Leanne McBeath and together with my husband Marty we own and operate our business Saw Dust Art.

I have always loved the look and feel of wood, and this business has allowed my dream to become a reality. I have a passion for creating, transforming and restoring furniture, and I love using Victorian wooden fretwork (which I cut with a scoll saw) to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. My personal style favourites are Rustic, French Provincial and Shabby Chic . My customers have helped me

expand into a number of different areas through their custom orders. These include making props for photography, wedding accessories, business signs, cake stands and a variety of decorative items.

Come join me on my new adventure! Some creations aren’t born from a single spark—they are refined over time, shaped by love, memory, and meaning. Today, we’re proud to share a relaunch, not a beginning. A continuation. A quiet transformation. Locust Jewellery becomes Forged with Grace and Joy.

The heart of the maker’s mark—the locust—remains. A symbol of resilience, of seasons and renewal. But now it’s joined by something equally important: our names. Helen Grace and Leanne Joy. Two sisters, two creative forces, joined not just by blood, but by a shared vision.

Together we bring you a collection of handcrafted jewellery that blends timeless elegance with whimsical wonder.

Leanne, at the bench, brings her silversmith’s eye and artist’s soul to every piece. Grace, in form and finish, weaves through her thoughtful hands. And behind the scenes, Helen is the heart of storytelling and connection—bringing these treasures into the world for people to wear, gift, cherish.

Each piece in Forged with Grace and Joy speaks of contrasts: softness and strength, gleam and texture, stillness and movement. It’s jewellery made slowly, intentionally, beautifully.

We invite you to explore this next chapter with us. Whether you’re discovering us for the first time or have been with us since our Locust days, thank you. This relaunch is a celebration—of craft, of family, of creativity—and it’s meant to be shared.

So here’s to what endures. What evolves. And what’s made with grace... and joy.
