We've got a nice surprise for our opening night of Dan Withey's "Finite Bounty" exhibition this Friday 29th May!

artist Dan Withey is coming to do an artist talk about his exhibition!

Doors open at 6. We will have drinks and refreshments on hand. Join us for an imaginative and colourful night celebrating a very talented South Australian artist!

The Naracoorte Art Gallery is so happy to introduce you to "Arnold". This gorgeous PAINTING of the real bearded dragon has won the IBIS Rising 2026 Viewers Choice Awards! The artist, Meagan Lonsdale, uses Arnold as her muse and it has paid off. After almost 200 votes this year, Arnold won by just ONE vote! If you missed voting for Arnold this year, you will have to visit us next year and cast your vote for Viewers Choice 2027!

Don't want to wait that long to visit the gallery? Come along this Friday to the opening of our exhibition "Finite Bounty" (29 May - 5 July) by Dan Withey. For the first time in a few years the author will be here for the opening and conducting an artist's talk.

After an incredible contribution to the Naracoorte Regional Art Gallery, we say a heartfelt farewell and thank you to Bec as she moves on to her next chapter. Your passion, dedication, creativity and care for the gallery and community have made a lasting impact, and you will be greatly missed. 💛

At the same time, we are thrilled to welcome Sadie to the NRAG team! With a vibrant background in the arts, community engagement, education and creative business, Sadie brings warmth, energy and a genuine love of people and creativity to the gallery. We are excited for this next chapter and can’t wait for our community to meet her.

Today was the day for the Annual Mother's Day Raffle to be drawn and we're ecstatic to announce Deidre Williams as our winner. The gallery sold an astonishing number of tickets this year & we're so thankful for the incredible support! Bec and Volunteer Emily stirred up the big bucket of tickets before picking the lucky winner. ⭐🏆
