Our annual Gumnut Fair is on Sunday, 15 November 2026, from 11am–3pm at Nutcote, home of May Gibbs, 5 Wallaringa Ave, Kurraba Point, Sydney, 2089.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of May Gibbs when you join us for a delightful day at the Gumnut Fair. May Gibbs' magic comes to life as you meet and greet beloved Gumnut Baby characters. Discover unique Christmas gifts, indulge in homemade slices and cakes, and explore charming garden stalls. Savour the deliciousness of our signature Devonshire Tea, homemade lemonade or sausage sizzle. Try your luck at the Prize Wheel for your chance to win fabulous prizes! Little ones will also love the face painting, storytime, craft and dress-ups.

Dress to impress in your favourite May Gibbs or vintage 1920s attire.

This open day is not just a fantastic day out – as a not-for-profit community-run museum, it’s also our biggest fundraiser of the year. Entry to the fair is free; standard charges apply for those wishing to tour the house and experience its rich history.
