See that great timber building? That's the old Army Vehicle Workshop, one of the largest timber military buildings in the southern hemisphere, and the heart of our museum today.

During the war the depot's twelve main buildings held more than 376,000 square feet of stores: vehicles, equipment, everything the army needed kept out here in the bush. Today it's home to our collection, and the timbers are still standing strong.
