A huge Happy 87th Birthday to Brian. Alongside his wife Margaret, he is our longest serving volunteer at the Scholz Park Museum. You may recall they both won the Riverton Australia Day award for Community Hero in 2025.

Wow, how good does this look? We needed more room inside and the only way was to move some items outside where the public can view them. This is the result.
A huge thank you to all involved. A special thank you to our committee members that have worked on the paving, storm water and the mesh screens. An awesome job by all.

Of course we normally open on the last Sunday of the month, but just to be different we are going to bring it forward to this Sunday the 24th for May only. Our Blacksmiths have other committments on the 31st.
So drop in and see them working and say hello.

Well, tomorrow marks the end of an era at the Riverton Hotel with Annie and John moving on to retirement. Scholz Park Museum and the Riverton Hotel have supported each other well over the years and a recent generous donation of $1000 from the Hotel is allowing us to build and fit mesh guards to our new outdoor display area. Unfortunately it is still work in progress so we don't have any photos as yet.
Our committee would like thank both Annie and John for their support and wish them all the best for their retirement. 🥂🥂🍺🍺
