The Annual General Meeting of the Rosedale and District Historical Society will take place on Sunday 15th March at 1.30pm. The history of the town is an important part of the overall Gippsland history so join us to help us preserve that history

Annual membership of the society is a very reasonable $20.00 and to vote in the election, members need to be financially current.
Rosedale RSL President Brett Wilson will chair the society elections and following the meeting will speak about changes to RSL Victoria and how they might affect the smaller RSL sub branches like Rosedale.

Following the talk afternoon tea will be provided.
The society’s rooms are open to the public every Tuesday from 10am till 12 noon and the second Sunday of the month, 1.30pm till 4pm.

The Rosedale and District Historical Society will be closed today Tuesday 3rd February due to a shortage of volunteers. The museum will reopen on Sunday afternoon 8th February at 1.30pm following the Sunday market and then every Tuesday from 10am till 12 noon and the second Sunday of the month following the market. The R&DHS OP Shop will be closed for the holidays from 19th December til 6th of January 2026. Thank you to all our customers and donators for making this a great year for us. The Op Shop supports the work of the Historical Society. We invite you to support us further by becoming a member or a volunteer.

Rosedale and District Historical Society will hold their Annual General Meeting this Sunday 25th May. Guest speaker will be Barbara Johnson, President of the Traralgon and District Historical Society who will talk about her family's involvement in the Traralgon community and her own involvement as a member of the historical society. Barbara will chair the election of the committee and her talk will follow. The meeting will commence at 1.30pm at the society rooms at 1 - 3 Cansick St Rosedale and will be followed by afternoon tea.
