Blacktown Arts is committed to exploring dynamic, culturally diverse work that

reflects Blacktown, its history and its communities. We place Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and communities at the heart of the program to develop new work drawing on issues of local and global significance. Blacktown Arts at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre is an innovative multi-arts hub located in the heart of Blacktown, a short walk from the railway station. The Centre has:

• 2 gallery spaces
• 75-seat performance studio
• Workshop studio
• Weaving garden

General admission is free. We acknowledge the Darug people who are the traditional owners of the Land on which we work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and thank them for their Custodianship of this Land.

While The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre has closed, our commitment to creativity, connection and opportunity, across western Sydney remains strong.

We have just released Blacktown Arts: Artist Opportunities and Digital Insights, which features exciting opportunities for artists and communities, including Magnify: Live Arts, the Blacktown City Creative Arts Fund, Blacktown Shorts Film Festival, Digital Stories and our Digital Artist in Residence program.
