Just looking back on some posts from a few years ago and thought that this one was quite interesting. I thought I'd re-share it.

Did you know❓

When the hotel was converted to a post office and headmasters residence in the 1870’s, doors along the central corridor were sealed off essentially dividing the building in two 📮

Rooms along the Northern side formed the postmasters residence, with the headmaster occupying the Southern side.

The building was so divided infact, that when electricity was installed, the light switches on the Northern side of the building were standard wall-plates whilst the Southern side was given ceiling pull switches 💡

A BIG thank you to everyone who visited us on Sunday 17th May when we held our "LOOKING THRU A LENS" event. It was great to see so many visitors, focusing their own camera lenses on the many fascinating objects that were on display throughout the site.
We were lucky with the weather too, with many choosing to enjoy their Devonshire teas and sausage sizzles in our beautiful garden.
Here are just a few photos which were taken on a smart phone and not an actual camera!
