We engage with our local and global communities, we support artists regionally and nationally, and we promote a flourishing and experimental creative environment accessible to all. Designed by Melbourne architect Garner Davis in 1999, the Art Gallery includes seven exhibition areas with one Gallery specifically designed for the National Art Glass Collection. The Glass Gallery houses a world class, nationally significant collection of contemporary art glass, featuring approximately 500 pieces. Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is also the home of the Margaret Carnegie Print Collection, which consists of over 1200 original prints by some of Australia's foremost artists. Wagga Wagga Art Gallery welcomes over 40,000 people each year to exhibitions, events, educational and public programs and is FREE to the public.

✨ Coming soon… Hello Dankness by Soda Jerk

What happens when politics, pop culture and conspiracy collide? In Hello Dankness, Soda Jerk reimagines America’s recent history through film samples, satire and the absurdity of contemporary politics.

Join us for the free exhibition launch on Friday 30 October at 6pm, with the film screening at 7pm.

The film runs for 70 minutes and will screen from 3 November to 20 December, at 11am and 2pm, with a single 11am screening on Sundays.

Welcome Artist in Residence, Allis Hamilton!

Allis will be joining us in the E3 space for the next four weeks, and she’s excited to begin a new body of work, The Sight and Sound of You.

During her residency, Allis will be visited by four artists who inspired her as a young woman growing up in the district. She’ll begin creating impressions of these artists through both visual and audio portraits.

We’re looking forward to seeing and hearing how her work unfolds!

Stay tuned for updates on Allis’s residency and her work in progress. 👀🎨🎧✨

The Regional Artist Development (RAD) Program is supported by Create NSW through NSW Government.

AFFORDING TRUTH features 14 artists from across the country whose work interrogates the muddy space of truth using affordances — the qualities of objects or environments that suggest or enable actions and interactions.

LAUREN DUNN addresses consumer trends and the imagery that fuels desire through hyperreal depictions and advertising methodologies, unpacking the codes of images, politics and power structures.

BADEN PAILTHORPE creates digital worlds of repetition, where technology both enhances and threatens human independence and autonomy.

Affording Truth is now on until 18 October 2026.
