Friday's Mystery Object

From time to time interesting objects are donated to Pearn’s Steam World. Recently this fascinating little thing came into our possession. But what is it? There are no identifying marks. Despite much enthusiastic debate and discussion between Pearn’s Steam World members no one knows for sure just what it is. Our thoughts are it may be for cutting gaskets. Made from steel it’s bit of a mystery.

What are your thoughts? We’d love to hear from you. Any idea’s, thoughts or comments on its use, or who might have made it?
