So we keep changing orientations of things.'
Saikat: 'Anything we get for the décor, we keep it in front of our eyes for days till it finds it’s position naturally according to the need. This is true for every object we buy, be it a table or a lampshade. The dynamism of need and design is what we give way.'
Ankita: 'I think the most precious piece is the centre table in the living room. Simply be

cause, it was made by Anik & Shormee, both students of Charukala. They made the design along with Saikat, bought the woods and made the table
right there. The table was wobbly and Saikat was too lazy to cut two pieces of bamboo and put beneath the table for balance. As per Shahin bhai's suggestion I just put stacks of hardback books to get the balance. Saikat: 'The rest of the furniture have beautiful stories around them too. Most of them are bought from various second hand markets, where the richest parts of the city (Gulshan, Banani) shed off their used stuff. One of the tables I bought for 500 BDT was actually used for making Naan and Rumali Roti in some hotel.'
