আজ ১০ অক্টোবর, শনিবার সকাল ১১টায় বরেন্দ্র রিসার্চ মিউজিয়ামের নির্মাণাধীন টিকিট কাউন্টার ও গার্ডরুমের ছাদ ঢালাইয়ের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়। কাজ শুরুর সময় বরেন্দ্র রিসার্চ মিউজিয়ামের পরিচালকসহ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

[The roof concreting work for the under-construction ticket counter and guard room of the Varendra Research Museum was completed today, Saturday, October 10, at 11:00 AM. The director, along with other officers and staff of the museum, was present at the start of the work.]

ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইসলামের ইতিহাস ও সংস্কৃতি বিভাগের এমএ ‘গ’ শাখা (ইসলামি শিল্পকলা ও প্রত্নতত্ত্বের ইতিহাস)-এর শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রায়োগিক ও ব্যবহারিক শিক্ষার অংশ হিসেবে গৃহীত ‘Visualizing the Heritage Monuments of Dhaka’ শীর্ষক প্রকল্পের আওতায় নির্মিত হেরিটেজ ডকুমেন্টারিসমূহের উদ্বোধনী প্রদর্শনী বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

প্রকল্পের আওতায় শিক্ষার্থীদের সাতটি গ্রুপ ঢাকার সাতটি ঐতিহাসিক ও প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক স্থাপনাকে কেন্দ্র করে ভিডিও ডকুমেন্টারি নির্মাণ করে। স্থাপনাগুলো হলো—

১. গ্রুপ–A: ইমামবাড়া হোসেনী দালান
২. গ্রুপ–B: সাত গম্বুজ মসজিদ
৩. গ্রুপ–C: খান মুহাম্মদ মৃধা মসজিদ
৪. গ্রুপ–D: কাটরা
৫. গ্রুপ–E: আর্মেনিয়ান চার্চ
৬. গ্রুপ–F: নর্থব্রুক হল (লালকুঠি)
৭. গ্রুপ–G: হাজী খাজা শাহবাজ মসজিদ

অনুষ্ঠানে বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের পরিচালক (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) প্রফেসর ড. কাজী মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানের চেয়ারপারসন ছিলেন ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইসলামের ইতিহাস ও সংস্কৃতি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. সুরাইয়া আখতার।

ডকুমেন্টারিগুলোর মূল্যায়ন ও বিচারকার্যে বিচারক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন এ কে এম সাইফুর রহমান, আঞ্চলিক পরিচালক, প্রত্নতত্ত্ব অধিদপ্তর, রাজশাহী ও রংপুর বিভাগ, বগুড়া এবং মো. আসলাম রেজা, ডেপুটি লাইব্রেরিয়ান, বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর।

প্রতিযোগিতায় প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করে গ্রুপ–C (খান মুহাম্মদ মৃধা মসজিদ)। প্রথম রানার-আপ হয় গ্রুপ–D (কাটরা) ও গ্রুপ–A (ইমামবাড়া হোসেনী দালান)। দ্বিতীয় রানার-আপ হয় গ্রুপ–B (সাত গম্বুজ মসজিদ) ও গ্রুপ–G (হাজী খাজা শাহবাজ মসজিদ)।

অনুষ্ঠানে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইসলামের ইতিহাস ও সংস্কৃতি বিভাগের কোর্স কো-অর্ডিনেটর অধ্যাপক ড. এ কে এম খাদেমুল হকসহ শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

এ ধরনের গবেষণাভিত্তিক ও ব্যবহারিক শিক্ষামূলক উদ্যোগ শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রাচীন ইতিহাস, প্রত্নতত্ত্ব, ইসলামি শিল্পকলা ও স্থাপত্য সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান বৃদ্ধির পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশের সমৃদ্ধ সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণে নতুন প্রজন্মকে উৎসাহিত করবে।

Students of the MA ‘G’ Section (History of Islamic Art and Archaeology), Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Dhaka, organized an inaugural screening of heritage documentaries produced under the project titled ‘Visualizing the Heritage Monuments of Dhaka’ as part of their practical and academic learning activities at the Varendra Research Museum.

As part of the project, seven student groups produced video documentaries focusing on seven significant historical and archaeological monuments of Dhaka:

1. Group–A: Imambara Hossaini Dalan
2. Group–B: Saat Gambuj Mosque
3. Group–C: Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque
4. Group–D: Bara Katra
5. Group–E: Armenian Church
6. Group–F: Northbrook Hall (also known as Lalkuthi)
7. Group–G: Haji Khwaja Shahbaz Mosque

Prof. Dr. Kazi Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Director In-Charge of the Varendra Research Museum, was present as the chief guest at the event. The event was chaired by Dr. Suraiya Akhtar, Professor of the Department of Islamic History and Culture at the University of Dhaka.

The documentaries were evaluated by A. K. M. Saifur Rahman, Regional Director, Department of Archaeology, Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisions, Bogura, and Md. Aslam Reza, Deputy Librarian, Varendra Research Museum, who served as judges.

Group–C (Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque) secured first place. Group–D (Bara Katra) and Group–A (Imambara Hossaini Dalan) jointly secured the First Runner-up position, while Group–B (Saat Gambuj Mosque) and Group–G (Haji Khwaja Shahbaz Mosque) jointly secured the Second Runner-up position.

Professor Dr. A. K. M. Khademul Haque, Course Coordinator of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Dhaka, along with faculty members and students, attended the programme.

Such research-based and practical educational initiatives provide students with valuable knowledge of ancient history, archaeology, Islamic art and architecture, while encouraging the younger generation to contribute to the documentation, appreciation and preservation of Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage.

৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ তারিখে ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের চিফ এক্সিকিউটিভ Scott McDonald বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর, রাজশাহী পরিদর্শন করেন। এ সময় বাংলাদেশে ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের ডেপুটি ডিরেক্টর Maarya Rehman-সহ ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের অন্যান্য প্রতিনিধিবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

পরিদর্শনকালে জাদুঘরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের পেশাগত দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধি এবং সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণে পরিচালিত মিউজিয়াম স্টাফ ট্রেনিং প্রোগ্রাম-এর অর্জন ও অগ্রগতি তুলে ধরা হয়। ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের কালচারাল প্রোটেকশন ফান্ডের সহযোগিতায় দুই পর্যায়ে পরিচালিত এ কর্মসূচিতে ডারহাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ইউনেসকো চেয়ার, রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর এবং দেশি-বিদেশি বিশেষজ্ঞরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

জাদুঘরের ভারপ্রাপ্ত পরিচালক প্রফেসর কাজী মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান এবং উপ-গ্রন্থাগারিক ও কর্মসূচির সমন্বয়কারী মো. আসলাম রেজা-এর সংশ্লিষ্টতায় পরিচালিত এ প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিতে প্রত্ননিদর্শনের পরিচর্যা ও সংরক্ষণ, ক্যাটালগিং, ডিজিটালাইজেশন, ত্রিমাত্রিক (থ্রিডি) মডেলিং, তথ্য নথিবদ্ধকরণ, মৌখিক ঐতিহ্য, স্টোরিটেলিং, জাদুঘর ব্যবস্থাপনায় নৈতিকতা, দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা এবং জনসম্পৃক্ততার মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল।

এ কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে জাদুঘরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও ইন্টার্নরা আধুনিক সংরক্ষণপদ্ধতি, ডিজিটাল নথিবদ্ধকরণ, প্রত্ননিদর্শন ব্যবস্থাপনা এবং জনসম্পৃক্ততাভিত্তিক জাদুঘর পরিচালনা সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান ও ব্যবহারিক দক্ষতা অর্জনের সুযোগ পান। এ উদ্যোগ জাদুঘরের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি এবং ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণের কার্যক্রমকে আরও আধুনিক, সুশৃঙ্খল ও টেকসই করার ক্ষেত্রে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রেখেছে।

এ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উদ্যোগে সহযোগিতা ও সমর্থনের জন্য বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর Scott McDonald, Maarya Rehman, ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিল, ডারহাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ইউনেসকো চেয়ার এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল সহযোগী প্রতিষ্ঠান ও বিশেষজ্ঞের প্রতি আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছে। একই সঙ্গে এ কর্মসূচির সঙ্গে যুক্ত প্রশিক্ষক, প্রশিক্ষণার্থী, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও ইন্টার্নদের অবদানও বিশেষভাবে প্রশংসনীয়।

ভবিষ্যতে জাদুঘরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, প্রযুক্তিগত সহায়তা, ডিজিটাল সংরক্ষণ, থ্রিডি মডেলিং এবং গবেষণামূলক কার্যক্রম সম্প্রসারণে এ সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদার হবে বলে বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর আশাবাদী। পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা ও ধারাবাহিক দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশের সমৃদ্ধ প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণ এবং ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের কাছে তা পৌঁছে দেওয়ার কার্যক্রম আরও গতিশীল হবে বলে আমরা বিশ্বাস করি।

British Council Chief Executive Scott McDonald Visits Varendra Research Museum

On 30 September 2026, Scott McDonald, Chief Executive of the British Council, visited the Varendra Research Museum in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Maarya Rehman, Deputy Director of the British Council in Bangladesh, and other British Council representatives were also present.

During the visit, the museum highlighted the achievements and progress of its Museum Staff Training Programme, designed to enhance the professional skills of museum officers and staff and strengthen cultural heritage preservation. Supported by the British Council’s Cultural Protection Fund, the programme was implemented in two phases in collaboration with Durham University, the UNESCO Chair, the University of Rajshahi, the Varendra Research Museum, and national and international experts.

With the involvement of Professor Kazi Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Director-in-Charge of the Varendra Research Museum, and Md. Aslam Reza, Deputy Librarian and Programme Coordinator, the training covered archaeological object care and conservation, cataloguing, digitalisation, 3D modelling, documentation, oral traditions, storytelling, museum ethics, disaster management, and community engagement.

Through this programme, museum officers and staff, along with volunteers and interns, had opportunities to develop their knowledge and practical skills in modern conservation techniques, digital documentation, archaeological object management, and community-engaged museum practices. The initiative contributed to strengthening the museum’s institutional capacity and laying the foundation for more modern, systematic, and sustainable heritage conservation.

The Varendra Research Museum expresses its sincere gratitude to Scott McDonald, Maarya Rehman, the British Council, Durham University, the UNESCO Chair, and all partner institutions and experts for their valuable support and collaboration. The contributions of the trainers, trainees, volunteers, and interns involved in the programme are also greatly appreciated.

The museum looks forward to further strengthening this partnership through continued professional development, technical assistance, digital preservation, 3D modelling, and expanded research activities. বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের ১১৬তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উদযাপন

আজ রোববার, ২৭ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬, বিকেল ৪টায় বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের হলরুমে জাদুঘরের ১১৬তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে এক বিশেষ আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করা হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কোষাধ্যক্ষ প্রফেসর ড. মো. মতিয়ার রহমান। রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিন্ডিকেট সদস্য প্রফেসর রেজাউল করিম এবং বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে সংস্কৃত বিভাগের অবসরপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যাপক প্রফেসর মঞ্জুলা চৌধুরী বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন। এছাড়াও বক্তব্য রাখেন অ্যাডভোকেট শিশির এবং সমাজকর্মী তৌফিকুর রহমান বাবু।

আলোচনা সভায় বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের সমৃদ্ধ ঐতিহ্য, গবেষণা কার্যক্রম, সংগ্রহ ও সংরক্ষণ এবং ভবিষ্যৎ উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মতবিনিময় হয়। বক্তারা জাদুঘরের ঐতিহাসিক, গবেষণামূলক ও সাংস্কৃতিক গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন এবং এর উন্নয়ন ও আধুনিকায়নে বিভিন্ন দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন।

অতিথিবৃন্দ জাদুঘরের দীর্ঘ ঐতিহ্য ও বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমের প্রশংসা করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে গবেষণা, শিক্ষা, সংরক্ষণ ও সাংস্কৃতিক কার্যক্রম আরও সম্প্রসারণের ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।

Varendra Research Museum Celebrates Its 116th Anniversary

A special discussion meeting was held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, 27 September 2026, at the Hall Room of the Varendra Research Museum to mark its 116th anniversary.

The event was attended by Professor Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman, Treasurer of the University of Rajshahi. Professor Rezaul Karim, Member of the Syndicate of the University of Rajshahi, and Professor Manjula Chowdhury, retired Professor of the Department of Sanskrit, also addressed the programme as distinguished guests. Advocate Shishir and social worker Toufiqu r Rahman Babu also delivered remarks.

Teachers and students from the University of Rajshahi, museum enthusiasts and distinguished members of the Rajshahi community, intern students, and officials and employees of the Varendra Research Museum attended the event.

The discussion was chaired by Professor Dr. Kazi Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Director-in-Charge of the Varendra Research Museum, and moderated by Md. Aslam Reza, Deputy Librarian, Varendra Research Museum.

The discussion focused on the museum’s rich heritage, research activities, collections and preservation, as well as future development plans. Speakers highlighted the museum’s historical, academic and cultural significance and shared valuable suggestions for its further development and modernization.

The guests appreciated the museum’s long-standing heritage and diverse activities and emphasized the importance of expanding its research, educational, conservation and cultural programmes in the future.

The 116th anniversary celebration reaffirmed the Varendra Research Museum’s commitment to preserving its glorious past, strengthening its present activities and advancing towards a promising future.

আগামী ২৭ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের ১১৬তম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে বিশেষ আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

সকাল ১০টা থেকে বিকেল ৪টা পর্যন্ত সকল দর্শনার্থী বিনা মূল্যে, কোনো টিকিট ছাড়াই বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করতে পারবেন।

এছাড়া, বিকেল ৪টা থেকে জাদুঘরের হলরুমে প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। উক্ত আলোচনা সভায় সকল দর্শনার্থী ও আগ্রহী ব্যক্তিদের আন্তরিকভাবে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হচ্ছে।

Special Arrangements on the Occasion of the 116th Foundation Anniversary of the Varendra Research Museum

Special arrangements have been made to celebrate the 116th Foundation Anniversary of the Varendra Research Museum on 27 September 2026.

From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, all visitors will be able to visit the Varendra Research Museum free of charge without any admission ticket.

In addition, a discussion meeting will be held at the museum’s hall room from 4:00 PM on the occasion of the Foundation Anniversary. All visitors and interested individuals are cordially invited to attend the discussion meeting.

Everyone is warmly invited to visit the Varendra Research Museum on 27 September and explore its rich history, archaeological collections, and cultural heritage.

২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬, শুক্রবার—আজ বিকেলে এক সংক্ষিপ্ত ও জরুরি বার্তায় রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বরেন্দ্র রিসার্চ মিউজিয়াম পরিদর্শনে আসেন ১১ পদাতিক ডিভিশনের সম্মানিত জিওসি এবং বগুড়া এরিয়া কমান্ডার মেজর জেনারেল তৌহিদুল আহমেদ, এনডিসি, এএফডব্লিউসি, পিএসসি। বিকেল ৩:৪৫ মিনিটে তিনি সপরিবারে মিউজিয়াম প্রাঙ্গণে উপস্থিত হন। পরিদর্শনকালে তিনি মিউজিয়ামের প্রতিটি গ্যালারি ঘুরে দেখেন এবং এর সমৃদ্ধ সংগ্রহশালায় সংরক্ষিত হাজার বছরের প্রাচীন ও দুর্লভ প্রত্ননিদর্শনসমূহ দেখে গভীর সন্তোষ ও উচ্ছ্বাস প্রকাশ করেন। দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার অন্যতম প্রাচীন এই জাদুঘরের ঐতিহাসিক গুরুত্ব ও বিরল নিদর্শনের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করে তিনি পরিদর্শকের মন্তব্য খাতায় (Comments Book) তাঁর অনুভূতি ও মতামত লিপিবদ্ধ করেন।

এ সময় বরেন্দ্র রিসার্চ মিউজিয়ামের সম্মানীত পরিচালকসহ তৎকালীন দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ উপস্থিত থেকে তাঁকে উষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনা জানান ও পুরো মিউজিয়াম ঘুরিয়ে দেখান।

[On Friday, 25 September 2026, Major General Tauhidul Ahmed, NDC, AFWC, PSC, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11th Infantry Division and Area Commander of Bogura Area, paid a brief, short-notice visit to the Varendra Research Museum accompanied by his family at 3:45 PM. During the visit, he toured all the galleries of the museum and expressed deep admiration and delight upon witnessing the rare and ancient archaeological artifacts in its collection. Highly appreciating the historic significance and unique heritage of this ancient museum, he penned his thoughts and comments in the visitors' book before departing.

The Director of the museum, along with the officers and staff on duty, were present during the visit to welcome the honored guests and guide them through the museum.]

বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে আগত ৪৬ জন প্রশিক্ষণার্থী এ প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিতে অংশগ্রহণ করছেন। প্রশিক্ষণের অংশ হিসেবে তাঁরা রাজশাহীর ঐতিহ্যবাহী স্থাপনা এবং বাংলাদেশের প্রথম জাদুঘর বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করেন।

পরিদর্শনকালে প্রশিক্ষণার্থীরা জাদুঘরের সমৃদ্ধ প্রত্ননিদর্শন সংগ্রহ ও বিভিন্ন গ্যালারি ঘুরে দেখেন এবং বাংলাদেশের প্রাচীন ইতিহাস, প্রত্নতত্ত্ব ও সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য সম্পর্কে ধারণা লাভ করেন। এ সময় জাদুঘরের কর্মকর্তারা তাঁদের জাদুঘরের ইতিহাস, বিভিন্ন গ্যালারি, প্রত্ননিদর্শন, সংগ্রহ ব্যবস্থাপনা, সংরক্ষণ ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে ধারণা প্রদান করেন।

পরিদর্শন কার্যক্রমের সমন্বয় করেন বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরের জ্যেষ্ঠ কর্মকর্তা জনাব মো: আসলাম রেজা (Md. Aslam Reza)।

প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের সঙ্গে কোর্স পরিচালক ও ২–৩ জন সহযোগীও এ পরিদর্শনে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। এ ধরনের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক ও শিক্ষামূলক পরিদর্শন প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের বাংলাদেশের প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য সম্পর্কে বাস্তব জ্ঞান ও অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে।

Induction Course Trainees of Bangladesh Postal Academy Visit Varendra Research Museum

Trainees of the ongoing induction course for promoted and newly appointed Junior Accountants, Post Office Inspectors, and Upazila Postmasters at the Bangladesh Postal Academy, Rajshahi, visited the Varendra Research Museum.

A total of 46 trainees from different districts of Bangladesh are participating in the training programme. As part of their training activities, they visited the historic sites of Rajshahi and the Varendra Research Museum, the first museum in Bangladesh.

During the visit, the trainees explored the museum’s rich archaeological collections and various galleries and gained insights into the ancient history, archaeology, and cultural heritage of Bangladesh. Museum officials briefed them on the history of the museum, its galleries and collections, archaeological artifacts, collection management, preservation, and research activities.

The visit was coordinated by Mr. Md. Aslam Reza, Senior Officer, Varendra Research Museum.

The course director and 2–3 accompanying officials also joined the visit. Such institutional and educational visits provide valuable opportunities for trainees to gain practical knowledge and experience about Bangladesh’s archaeological and cultural heritage.

অদ্য 18.09.2026 শুক্রবার সকাল 9:30 সম্মানিত বাংলাদেশ ব্রিটিশ হাইকমিশনার সারাহ্ কুক তাঁর স্বামী সহ বরেন্দ্র রিসার্চ মিউজিয়াম পরিদর্শন করেন। পরিদর্শনকালে তাঁরা মিউজিয়ামে সংরক্ষিত প্রত্ননিদর্শন দেখে অভিভূত হন এবং এই মিউজিয়ামের ভূয়সি প্রশংসা করেন। মিউজিয়ামের পরিচালক, কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ তাঁদেরকে মিউজিয়ামে সংরক্ষিত বিভিন্ন প্রত্ননিদর্শন ঘুরে দেখান। পরিদর্শনকালে মিউজিয়ামের পরিচালক প্রফেসর ড. কাজী মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান তাঁদেরকে এই মিউজিয়াম প্রতিষ্ঠার সংক্ষিপ্ত ইতিহাস অবহিত করেন।

গত 12 সেপ্টেম্বর 2026 রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইনস্টিটিউট অব এডুকেশন এন্ড রিসার্চ (আইইআর) এর প্রথম বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের দ্বিতীয় গ্রুপ অ্যাসাইনমেন্টের অংশ হিসেবে বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করে। পরিদর্শনকালে তারা জাদুঘরে সংরক্ষিত বিভিন্ন আমলের প্রত্নবস্তু সম্পর্কে চাক্ষুস ধারণা লাভ করায় ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্যের প্রতি তাদের জানার আগ্রহ বৃদ্ধি পায়। তাদের এই পরিদর্শন ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণে তাদেরকে আরো উৎসাহিত করে তুলবে।
