After several years running a gallery, supporting a range of Belgian and international artists, mariondecannière moves to a new location in the heart of Antwerp at Leopoldplaats 12, starting as an Art Space, offering a platform to artists and independent curators. The first season 2015-2016 was curated by HELD (Wilfried Huet, Dirk Engelen, Stella Lohaus and Isabel Devriendt / www.b-held.be).

mariondecannière is a platform for contemporary art located in Antwerp, Belgium, that offers opportunities to national and international artists.

mariondecannière welcomes all artists, regardless of age, and is not affiliated with specific artists outside of their exhibitions and eventual events.

In collaboration with Frederik Vergaert, former artistic director of the late Lokaal01 - a well-known artist-run initiative located in Breda (NL) and Antwerp - mariondecannière has a program where solo exhibitions alternate with group shows.

After several years of running a gallery and art space in the southern part of the city in the Pourbusstraat as Marion de Cannière, mariondecannière has moved to a new location in the heart of Antwerp at Leopoldplaats.
