Maurice Verbaet Gallery

Maurice Verbaet Gallery The Maurice Verbaet Collection is primarily dedicated to Belgian postwar art. Maurice Verbaet Gallery is promoting Belgian Modern Art from 1945 - 1975.

It strives to help forgotten Belgian postwar artists worth (re)discovering to rightfully reclaim the spotlight as well as to further promote their better-known peers. The gallery is open on Saturday and Sunday and holidays.

We’re delighted to announce our participation in BRAFA Art Fair 2026.

At Booth 015, we present a focused selection of Belgian post-war art, bringing together powerful and diverse voices that shaped the artistic landscape after 1945.

On view:
Tapta, Jo Delahaut, TAPTA, Pierre Alechinsky, Marcel Mariën, René Guiette, Walter Leblanc, Englebert Van Anderlecht and many more.

From abstraction to material experimentation, gesture to structure, this presentation highlights the richness and radical spirit of post-war Belgian creation.
