Belgian artist Patrick Vertenten likes to play with light, or the absence of it - his figures are never quite fully recognizable. Veiled behind lace. Dissolved into it. Turned away, just out of reach.
That same light carries the color - amber, ochre, gold - mysterious and warm at once, as if each figure were caught mid-reveal, half-lit and half-hidden.
Drop by in our gallery Le Salon de Léon to discover and admire a selection of his wonderful works.
