Details from Filip Collin (), Friendly Apparitions I-IV, 2023, now on view in our current exhibition 'Electric Aura’.

Filip Collin, a visual artist from Antwerp, crafts immersive artworks that blend shapes and colors in playful harmony. His journey from Sint Lucas to the Royal Academy shaped his rejection of black ink in favor of vibrant hues and diverse materials. Each element in Collin's compositions is carefully chosen to evoke a specific feeling, reflecting a meticulous yet free-spirited approach. His art invites us into a world where suspended shapes spark memories and emotions—a celebration of form and color, inviting us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the undefined.

Friendly Apparitions is a neon installation on plexiglas and steel frames. It reflects a repetition of memories and the loss of details throughout time. By constantly drawing, erasing and redrawing, the image makes a blurred appearance. Showing us what remains and what gets lost.

Work by Pascal Vilcollet () is now on view at the exhibition “Les Fleurs du Mal” as part of the sixth edition of Ballroom Project () during Antwerp Art Weekend ().

Set in the grandeur of a former neoclassical courthouse, the curator Pieter Vermeulen () explains, the exhibition seeks to articulate a delicate balance between ethics and aesthetics from a distinctly artistic perspective. Against a backdrop of increasing polarity, adversity, and turmoil, viewers are prompted to reflect on the nature of evil, the notions of disavowal and dissociation, the power of ambiguity, and the enduring relevance of art and beauty.

We are glad to share that we presenting work by Guillaume Linard Osorio () in this year's edition of Ballroom Project, taking place during Antwerp Art Weekend, 16–19th May at BorGerHub.

Ballroom Project is a unique creative and commercial platform that brings together galleries and artists from around the world. Unlike traditional art fairs, the project works with a dedicated curator to create an exhibition concept based on submissions from participating galleries. The project also wishes to foster a sense of community and collaboration within the art world by connecting national and international galleries with artists, ensuring that every artwork is presented in the best possible light. Like Ballroom Gallery, Ballroom Project is initiated by local players Base-Alpha Gallery () and DMW Gallery (), two galleries with strong ties to the Antwerp art scene.
