During her residency at Ceramica Suro in Guadalajara, Erica Mahinay () brought her language of touch into clay: fingerprints recur, and human forms surface and recede.

Where her paintings lean fully into abstraction, these ceramic works carry the weight of archaeological memory, as though unearthed rather than made.

'Evaporation Ceremony', Erica Mahinay's solo show, is now on view until May 2nd.

Erica Mahinay presents a new body of paintings that resist easy categorisation; abstract, yet unmistakably physical. Fingers become instruments of both structure and sensation, building surfaces where a latent grid is discovered rather than imposed, animated by colour that feels both chosen and inevitable.

On the first floor of the gallery, Richard Tuttle presents his recent investigation, described by the artist as being ‘truly experimental’.

Here, in the face of elemental question, the personal recedes. The artist speaks of wrestling with ‘foundation’, a term he explicitly links to its philosophical weight, the equivalent of ‘ground’.

In an era where art is often reduced to a commodity, a decorative object, or an instrument of financial speculation, Tuttle’s new works mount a quiet but fierce defence of the discipline itself.

They are made in defiance of a cultural tide that discounts art’s deeper purpose, fighting for its respect, against those who would belittle its essential inquiry.

This series is devoid of personal narrative, pushing instead toward a metaphysical level where the individual frame of mind might intersect the vast, impersonal cosmos.

Last chance to experience the sculptural presence of Valerie Krause’s exhibition "Diese eine Landschaft".

Her works — subtle and spatial — reflect a careful tension between movement and stillness, weight and balance.
Each sculpture invites you to navigate the space differently, to sense its rhythm and quiet force.

The gallery is open until 6 PM today — don’t miss your final chance to see the show!

Richard Tuttle, "Sewn 6", 1998 (wood, cloth, aluminium, string)

🎨✨ Richard Tuttle redefines the boundaries of painting and sculpture with his delicate, minimalist works. His use of humble materials, like sewn fabric and irregular shapes, invites us to see art in a new way.
