MAD Brussels .brussels
Place du Nouveau Marché aux Grains 10, 1000 Brussels

MAD Brussels, the platform for fashion and design in Brussels, presents ’What’s Your Style?’, a summer exhibition dedicated to the often unseen yet essential role of the stylist in contemporary fashion. Bringing together eleven Belgian stylists, the exhibition highlights styling as a practice situated at the intersection of fashion, visual culture, and identity.

Through carefully composed silhouettes and distinct visual worlds, the exhibition reveals the diversity of contemporary styling practices — from bold experimentation to refined aesthetics. Each stylist develops a singular language while sharing a common attention to storytelling, collaboration, and image-making. Featuring works and universes by Tom Eerebout, Lisa Lapauw, LOUDMILLA, Benoît Béthume, Ilja De Weerdt, Lieve Gerrits, Farah El Bastani, Vincent Van Laeken, Christine Van Laer, Francis Boesmans, and Jan A.R. Bries.

Rue du Marché aux Porcs 4, 1000 Brussels

A gallery founded in late 2003, built on something beyond commerce, a space of critical positions, held together with the artists it has represented from the very beginning.

Alexandra Metcalf draws a line from Victorian railway mania to the digital exhaustion of today. When the speed of trains once triggered vertigo and psychological collapse, it was already prefiguring our contemporary forms of cognitive overload. These are not individual weaknesses — they are the symptoms of structural pressure.

Alongside, dépendance VIEW presents the duo ReschWilleit : interventions in constant transformation, giving shape to the architectures of data.

//GAGGARIN// .bxl
Square Sainctelette 4, 1000 Brussels

Based in Brussels, //GAGGARIN// is an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary artistic proposals, with a focus on emerging practices and experimental approaches. Conceived as a space for research and presentation, it supports projects shaped by collective dynamics and singular perspectives on the real.

For Downtown Brussels Art, //GAGGARIN// presents MAKADAM, a group exhibition bringing together four photographers exploring Brussels through analogue photography.

Through fragments of everyday life, fleeting moments, and unnoticed details, the exhibition constructs a subjective portrait of the city — raw, intimate, and constantly shifting. Rather than documenting Brussels directly, the artists reveal alternative readings of the urban landscape through light, timing, composition, and presence.

Saint Martin Bookshop
Rue de Flandre 114, 1000 Brussels

A Brussels space at the intersection of publishing, exhibition-making and research — bringing artworks, publications and archives into dialogue, with a close attention to experimental forms and key figures in art history.

Xerografia is an exhibition dedicated to Bruno Murani, on view from 23 April to 13 June 2026. For the first time, a rare selection of xerographies from the artist’s studio and estate is presented to the public, and made available for acquisition. A pioneer of the Xerox machine as a tool for visual and poetic research, Munari is rediscovered here through works, original documents, photographs and correspondence that open a window onto his creative process. On the occasion of the exhibition, the book Xerografia is reissued. Extending the rediscovery of a singular practice.

Wouters Gallery .brussels
Boulevard d’Anvers 49, 1000 Brussels

Founded in 2009, Wouters Gallery develops an international programme bringing together emerging and established artists whose practices reflect the complexities of contemporary society.

For Downtown Brussels Art, the gallery presents works by Elen Braga , Ryo Kinosh*ta .kino.sh*ta, and Noemi Weber .e.mi.we.ber, exploring questions of materiality, representation, and narrative through distinct artistic approaches.

Elen Braga’s monumental textile works engage with mythology, identity, and symbolic power, while Ryo Kinosh*ta extends painting into a sculptural dimension by revealing the structure and materiality of the canvas itself. Noemi Weber, meanwhile, questions dominant narratives in Western art history through works combining gesture, ornament, folklore, and collective forms of creation. Bringing together painting, textile, and sculptural practices, the exhibition reflects on transformation, resilience, and the shifting boundaries of representation.
