A full house and a wonderful first edition of “Matinée with Pat Donnez”.

After brunch, guests gathered in the gallery for a thoughtful conversation between Pat Donnez and Thomas Leysen, surrounded by the quiet presence of Yumiko Yoneda’s works.

We were thrilled by the warm response and enthusiastic feedback.

A beautiful first edition, with the next already in the making.

Dialogue I is still on view.

Step into a space where silence, form, and light take the lead. The work of Yumiko Yoneda unfolds slowly, revealing a delicate balance between fullness and emptiness, presence and absence.

This is not an exhibition you pass through. It asks you to pause, to look longer, and to experience space differently.

On view now at Francis Maere Fine Arts.

Happy Easter 🥚

A quiet moment of renewal and reflection with the work of Yumiko Yoneda.
Soft, rounded, almost egg-like forms that hold both emptiness and fullness at once.

A reminder that within stillness, something new is always taking shape.

Dialogue I — Yumiko Yoneda

We are pleased to welcome you to the opening of Dialogue I, featuring the work of Yumiko Yoneda .

Yoneda’s quiet, contemplative sculptures explore the language of circle and sphere, creating forms that evoke balance, continuity, and the cyclical nature of life. With their soft surfaces and restrained palette, her works invite moments of silence, reflection, and presence.

In this first edition of the Dialogue series, Yoneda’s contemporary sculptures are presented alongside a curated selection of historical masters from the gallery, creating a conversation between past and present.

We warmly invite you to join us for the opening.

Some artists whisper and permanently alter the course of painting.

Raoul De Keyser developed a radically personal language, in dialogue yet distinct from Roger Raveel. Where others expanded the image, De Keyser reduced it to tension, balance and distilled presence. His work moves between figuration and abstraction without ever fully settling, and that ambiguity is precisely its strength.

“Raamklink” - 1967 | 120 x 150 cm
