enaars van over heel de wereld bevordert. Hierbij staan haar tentoonstellingen en de verzameling en het beheer van de stedelijke glaskunstcollectie centraal. (EN) As a dynamic art institution, GlazenHuis promotes glass in all its facets and shows that you can make of glass anything you want: an object or painting, bronze or gemstone, art or design, unique or everyday, colourful or transparent. GlazenHuis is an open house for art, artists and the public, encouraging artistic encounters and promoting cultural exchanges between artists from all over the world. Its exhibitions and collecting and managing the urban glass art collection are central to its mission.

NL: Philippe Samyn, de visionaire ontwerper van GlazenHuis, is recentelijk overleden ... Met zijn unieke ontwerp creëerde hij een iconisch gebouw waarin architectuur, glaskunst en vakmanschap naadloos samenvloeien. De karakteristieke glazen kegel en de transparante architectuur maken van GlazenHuis al jarenlang een herkenningspunt in het hart van onze stad.

Onze gedachten gaan uit naar zijn familie, vrienden en collega's ❤️ Zijn werk en nalatenschap zullen blijven inspireren.

EN: Philippe Samyn, the visionary designer of GlazenHuis, has recently passed away ... With his unique design, he created an iconic building in which architecture, glass art, and craftsmanship blend seamlessly. The distinctive glass cone and the transparent architecture have made GlazenHuis a landmark in the heart of our city for many years.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues ❤️ His work and legacy will continue to inspire.
