🍷✏️ Drink & Draw — Vrijstaat Curieus (Hal 5 Leuven, outdoor)
Step into Vrijstaat Curieus, a temporary space for imagination, dialogue, and active citizenship at Hal 5. During this open-air Drink & Draw, we invite you to slow down, connect, and co-create in an informal, welcoming setting.
Together, we’ll contribute to Sparks for Change, a collective zine gathering reflections, ideas, and creative expressions around what it means to shape society today. Expect a mix of drawing, conversation, music, and spontaneous encounters — a space where thoughts can unfold visually and collectively.
Hosted by Leti Confetti (Grafik), who will guide the session with playful prompts to spark creativity. No experience needed — curiosity is enough.
Come by, have a drink, stay for a while, and leave your trace on the page 🌿

Stap binnen in Vrijstaat Curieus, een tijdelijke plek voor verbeelding, ontmoeting en actief burgerschap in Hal 5. Tijdens deze openlucht Drink & Draw nodigen we je uit om te vertragen, te verbinden en samen te creëren in een losse, warme sfeer.
We werken samen aan Sparks for Change, een collectieve zine vol ideeën, reflecties en creatieve bijdragen rond hoe we vandaag mee vorm geven aan de samenleving. Verwacht een mix van tekenen, gesprekken, muziek en spontane ontmoetingen — een plek waar gedachten zichtbaar worden.
Leti Confetti (Grafik) begeleidt de namiddag met speelse creatieve impulsen. Geen ervaring nodig — goesting is genoeg.

Drink & Draw on air quality in Brussels

Join us to draw, write and brainstorm about healthy air and breathing space in our city! We’ll focus on poster art: how do we visualise clean air? How do we create real breathing spaces in Brussels?

The concept is simple: we gather to share ideas, create posters and enjoy a drink together. No rules, no limits, just creative energy, fresh air in our minds and good vibes. Think: café night meets (drawing) quiz, with music and a relaxed atmosphere, all in the spirit of a more liveable Brussels.
• Throughout the evening, there will be several accessible mini-challenges (±20 minutes each) around air quality, urban breathing space and Brussels surrealism. Join whenever you like. Or just drop by for a drink!
• The event is open to everyone, with or without drawing experience. Love drawing? Great. Prefer crafting sharp, funny or powerful slogans? You’re more than welcome, words give oxygen to ideas.
• Materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own drawing or writing tools.

Throwback to our last Drink & Draw at GC Kriekelaar 🍻✏️ This time we stayed close to at our local community centre🍒. Kids, parents, long tables full of drawings, and a busy stage in the background. 🎉

We drew music instruments, plants, playgrounds and food, and filled the room with sketches while animations and drawings popped up on the big screen. A bit chaotic, but very alive 🔥, just how we like it. ✏️😊

Big thanks to all hosting guests : Pieter, Dimitri, Mikulas & Leti Confetti for the energy, the drawings, and the fun. Another memorable fun evening ✨

The Concept
The first big Drink & Draw of the 2026 season is here! A creative evening bringing together artists and enthusiasts for a relaxed, collaborative moment fueled by artistic energy, music, and great company. Whether you’re an amateur, professional, or just curious, Drink & Draw celebrates artistic diversity in a welcoming atmosphere.

The evening features Grafik’s creative flair, MC Leti Confetti and guest illustrators leading the charge. Every 30 minutes, a new illustrator will present two (group) drawing challenges of 20 minutes each. You can join at any time, and all materials are provided on-site.

Discover the cultural center of our municipality during their festive New Year Party, complete with delicious food and live concerts to keep the night alive after the drawing session! Last year’s Drink & Draw brought together almost 200 participants for an unforgettable experience, proof of Brussels’ vibrant, multicultural, and creative spirit at its finest.

This event is open to all skill levels, ages 12 to 99.
