Children under 5 Free Point Prim Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse on Prince Edward Island. Prices include HST.

It is unique, as it is the only round brick lighthouse on PEI and one of three in Canada. It was designed by the architect, Isaac Smith, who also created Province House in Charlottetown, and was built in 1845, by Richard Walsh. Prim Lighthouse is 60 feet above the ground and 80 feet above sea level. It offers spectacular views of the Northumberland Strait. You can climb the lighthouse to the top a

nd enjoy the views! Included with the price of admission is an optional guided tour. Or you can stroll the grounds, where there are informational display boards to read. There is also a gift shop in the Keeper's Cottage with lots of merchandise to tempt you! Come on down and visit our lighthouse - we'd love to see you! Admittance is $6.00 for Adults and $3.50 for Children under 12. You can also opt for a guided tour with the price of admittance.

This amazing original picture has been donated by Goldie Gillis for a draw, to raise money for the restoration fund of Point Prim Lighthouse.
The Lighthouse has saved many lives since 1845
and so many descendants of our keepers visit every year so every generation, and those to come can marvel at their and PEI’s history.

I found this pup on the Trans Canada this morning opposite the The Country Taste cafe.
It is now at the Point Prim Lighthouse but will be taken to the Humane Society in Charlottetown later today.
Please share so we can get this baby home.

Everyone from the board and staff at Point Prim Lighthouse would like to thank our community and visitors for the amazing turnout yesterday , to celebrate our 180th birthday.
It was a wonderful day and we thank you all for sharing it with us.
