“Há, de fato, uma história por trás de cada obra. As pinturas dos últimos dois anos nasceram das minhas viagens, tanto literais, quanto simbólicas. Às vezes, são inspiradas por lugares que visitei, outras vezes por momentos, gestos ou situações que me marcaram e se tornaram parte da minha percepção do mundo. Para mim, pintar é uma forma de compreender — a beleza, as contradições e as muitas camadas que compõem a realidade.
À primeira vista, as obras podem parecer leves, agradáveis ou como simples momentos turísticos, mas, após uma observação mais atenta, revelam-se significados mais profundos. Essa dualidade é o que me interessa”

there is indeed a story behind every work. The paintings of the past two years were born out of my travels both literal and symbolic. Sometimes they are inspired by places I’ve visited, other times by moments, gestures, or situations that left a mark on me and became part of how I perceive the world. For me, painting is a way of understanding—beauty, contradictions, and the many layers that make up reality.
At first glance, the works may appear light, pleasant, or like simple tourist moments, but upon closer observation they carry deeper meaning. This duality is what interests me.
