It features aspects of Bahamian Culture, Heritage and Cuisine. Driving along the street of Hunter's on the south shore of Grand Bahama you will find some of the descendants of the first settlers of Grand Bahama who came after the Arawaks, Lucayans, and Tainos. Among this settlement is the small but culturally rich Grum Ma's House Cultural Center. Grum Ma is how some Bahamians say grandmother. Know

ing how grandmothers lived gives you an idea of some of what you will find in this cultural center which is the only one of its kind in The Bahamas. You will be introduced to Bahamian history as well as the visit unfolds. You will also have an opportunity to sample Bahamian treats and visit the oldest Catholic Church next door.
