Ricky MacH's Second Art Exhibition "The Butterfly of Imagination"

“I’m starting to settle into it all.” Artist Ricky MacH notes. “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to present my work before the viewing public within the art sphere.”

It’s been about one year since emerging expressionist painter Ricky MacH had his first exhibition, and since then he has had the opportunity to do many other things within the fine art world, including donating one of his pieces for auction, and being featured in international art magazines. As his first professional year comes to an end, he has prepared for his second solo exhibition.

“I’m excited to have another solo exhibition at another gallery. I’m really looking forward to getting the perspectives on my work from new viewers. It is always a pleasure to engage in commentary about art overall. Maintaining an atmosphere for open commentary about art is key.”

This exhibition entitled “The Butterfly of Imagination Part II” will open on Sunday, July 5th, 2026 from 6-8pm at Doongalik Studios Art Gallery, #20 Village Road, and will feature paintings within his expressionist concept utilizing the brush, finger and knife (BFK) technique. The artist invites the public into his world and the paintings within that explore various themes of consciousness across reality and the imagination.

Ricky MacH b. 1996 is a self taught expressionist painter born and based in The Bahamas. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions on the island of New Providence. His work has been featured within Suboart and Artist Talk magazines, and has been sold via art gallery, private sale, and auction.
