We apologize for the error and hope you've all enjoyed this blank calendar day between March 30th and April 1st! We're gearing up for another season and look forward to sharing some details soon :)

Well, we're nearly a month into the near year, and we'd like to thank all of you who purchased a 2026 calendar in support of our museum. Proceeds, as always, go toward the maintenance of the buildings. This year the farmhouse will need a bit of attention, so look for a few upgrades there. Thanks again and we hope your new year is going well! 🙂

Yay, calendars! Our annual fundraiser is back with a 'schoolhouse' theme, picturing some of the one-room schoolhouses in the area before they amalgamated into Anola Elementary. On sale now for $10 at Settlers (I'm showing my age... I think the younger folks simply call it 'Shell?'). Thank you for supporting the museum. All proceeds go toward building maintenance.

Well, the museum in closed for another year (so sad, we know). But we wanted to reach out to any handymen (or handywomen!) in the area who might be interested in helping out a little at the museum next year.

If you're not interested in coming to our meetings or volunteering in other aspects of the museum, no problem, (life is busy), but having one or two more people who are able to donate a few hours of their time in the summers to help with things such as repainting steps, fixing a broken door, cleaning the eavestroughs, helping with odd repairs, etc... that sort of help would be invaluable.

Thanks for your time! I might send out another message in the spring just to see if anyone is interested. In the meantime, please feel free to send a message here on Facebook, or text Warren at 204-794-3069. Oh, and we hope to see you at the Anola Parade of Lights on November 15th!! Time for chili! We welcome you to stop by the Over 50 Club in Anola (733 Weiser Crescent) on Sunday, Oct 5th, from 12-3, for our annual chili lunch! $10 gets you a bowl of homemade chili, a bun, a drink, and a dessert. We'll also have music & a silent auction! We look forward to seeing you! Sounds like it will be rainy and dreary on Sunday.... perfect chili weather... 😃

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first ever vintage auto show on Sunday afternoon! It was a blast and a great turnout. My favourite car was the mercedes previously owned by Carol Burnett, because... Carol Burnett! What was your favourite?
Thanks again to the "Black Sheep" for coming out and to all who were there. Proceeds, as always, go toward the maintenance of our beloved museum buildings.
