Today’s kids art class was a hit! Led by instructor Jared Williams, the children created pendulum art, learning how to mix their paints and explore how different motions create unique designs. Every piece turned out amazing! After class, they enjoyed playing Plinko for prizes, along with homemade lemonade and sundaes. A big thank you to the Community Initiatives Fund for supporting this project.

What an incredible day at the Gallery yesterday! We not only saw record-breaking attendance for Pie Day but also celebrated two talented local artists with the unveiling of their stunning murals on Centre Street. The beauty of the paintings by Beth Stobbs and Tracey Britton is truly beyond words. Congratulations to Ray Francis from Moose Jaw, who won Beth’s “Prairie Backroads,” and to Kelsey Godson, the lucky winner of Tracey Britton’s “Living Skies.” This wonderful event was made possible thanks to the teamwork and support of Communities in Bloom, Able 11 Print, Golden South Wind Project, RM 72 Lake of the Rivers, and the Town of Assiniboia. A big thank you to everyone who attended the ceremony and supported the project by purchasing tickets for the paintings.
