Atikokan Centennial Museum Check out and follow our new postings at Museum of Atikokan. This site will no longer be updated.

The Atikokan Museum maintains an on-going collection of life in Atikokan. Featured exhibits are the logging industry, the Centennial Voyageur Pageant, the Centennial Kayak, the settlement of the town and the industries that have shaped our history. Located strategically through the exhibits are paintings by Atikokan artists. Isolation determined the character of the community which attracted adve

nturous and determined people who fostered all season sports: hockey, curling, cross-country skiing, down-hill skiing, snow machine trails, scenic trails, hikers, bikers and equestrians. Painters of Atikokan express their view of the natural world, writers, poets, choral groups, and musicians enrich the fellowship for which this town is fondly remembered.
