The Aylmer-Malahide Museum & Archives (“A.M.M.A.”) exists to facilitate storage and interpretation of the collection of artifacts related to the history of the town of Aylmer and Township of Malahide. Its primary purpose is the care, maintenance, and development of the collection as it applies to that history. Its strong, secondary purpose is to provide education and information about Aylmer and M

alahide to the general public and specific interest groups. Objectives:
• To provide conservation and safe storage for the evolving collection
• To provide information, community outreach, and education related to the collection and the history of Aylmer and Malahide
• To develop changing exhibits and programs based on the collection and local history
• In partnership, support other events and groups in the community when they are related to our mandate
• Encourage local employment and educational experience by participating in various programs related to student grants, job creation, training, etc., offered by all levels of government
• Find ways to raise funding toward self-sufficient operations

✨We're excited to announce that our featured exhibit, Fashion Through the Ages, is open for viewing! ✨This exhibit explores trends in women's fashion from the mid-1800s to the 1970s. Join us to learn more about the history of textile-making and the socio-political climates that affected women's choices in style.
Exhibited at 14 East Street in Aylmer, Mondays to Fridays, 10 AM to 5 PM.

The Aylmer-Malahide Museum & Archives Tour of Homes Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the Tour of Homes such an incredible success! We had a record year, with approximately 885 people participating in the tour!

The Tour of Homes is the museum's biggest fundraiser of the year - we truly don't know where we'd be without it! We can't express how grateful we are to be part of such an incredible community! Thank you so much to the homeowners, tour-goers, local businesses, sponsors, ticket sellers, and our incredible decorating committee! We couldn't have done it without you!

✏️An exhibition featuring over forty years of artwork created by local cartoonist and caricaturist, Ron Allen. Since 1982, Ron has been the featured editorial cartoonist published in the weekly Aylmer Express newspaper, documenting local events through his signature wit and mastery of his medium.
