Spring in Banff is famously patient—it’s been cold, snow comes and goes, though there is some sunshine it’s easy to feel a bit disheartened. But look at the soil of the historic Luxton garden… the Bow Valley's natural history is waking up. 🌷
New growth is pushing through, reminding us of resilience. These first buds foreshadow the coming of a busy season ahead at the Eleanor Luxton Historical Foundation.
We officially open the MUSEUM for the season in May!
☀️🏔️
As the garden begins to bloom, we are also preparing for
Local’s Days in May & June (with locals’ bundles draw prizes)
Our summer exhibit, "A Quiet Banff Trailblazer," celebrating Eleanor’s enduring legacy
AND as we move into summer watch for:

Free tea service every weekend.
