The Belleville Theatre Guild has been presenting theatre in Belleville since 1951. Over the last 75 years many people have been instrumental in making advancements in the technology, the space, the training of volunteers and the overall culture of the BTG.

A team of board members and countless volunteers run the organization. The annual season features five full-length performances, including one musical.

Join Lise Lindenberg, a longtime volunteer, as she takes you on a journey back in time to explore the history of the BTG.

From September 5 to 26 we will be showcasing items from the Belleville Theatre Guild in our Corridor Cabinets – so make sure to check out a sampling of props, posters and more.

We are pleased to be featuring artwork from local artist, Rebecca Johnson.

“As a local floral designer, creativity has always been part of who I am. Whether I'm designing flowers, painting, needle felting, drawing, taking photographs, playing music, or creating greeting cards, I love making art that brings joy to myself and others. Under my artist name, Banana Roo, I create artwork and greeting cards that can be found in several locations around Belleville. My greeting cards help support "Fixed Fur Life", with a portion of every sale donated to help cats in need."

Gallery 3 ~ Manly MacDonald Paints Belleville and the Bay of Quinte

Corridor Gallery ~ Selection of Prints from Our Gallery 39 Collection

From the early 80’s until 2013, the Parrott Gallery hosted an annual show of prints from the students of The Ontario College of Art and Design. These OCAD students created editions of small format work and would sell each piece for $39.00, hence the name “Gallery 39”. Over the years, we have collected many pieces by the printmaking students and teachers for our collection. The techniques range from silkscreen, etching and lithography to monoprint, aquatint and intaglio.
