Thank you everyone who came out for today's Historic Chase Townsite tour! The weather was wonderful and David and Breanne had fun sharing the history of some of the downtown buildings and first homes on Sicamous Avenue.

The Museum will be open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm this week.

Starting October 11th hours change to Tuesdays-Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm.

Starting October 26th hours change to Wednesdays/Fridays/Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm.

Does anyone remember anything about the Chase Trading Post in town? Breanne believes it was located in the old Lammers house which then burned down in the late 1970s - modern day 734 First Avenue.

Breanne picked out some excellent prizes for this month's treasure chest, including some Halloween themed items!

Scavenger hunts are available any time the Museum is open! From now until October 12th the Museum will be open Tuesday-Saturday 10-5.
From October 13th-25th the Museum will be open Tuesday-Saturday 10-4.
From October 26th-onwards the Museum will be open Wednesdays/Fridays/Saturdays 10-4.

Meet at the west end of Frontage Road - follow the signs! Drive west past the Petro-Canada Gas Station and A&W but don't turn onto the highway, keep right to head down Frontage Road towards Veteran Road.
