surviving examples of grand house architecture in British Columbia's interior. Mackie Lake House is open for privately booked tours and events. Feeling all the fall vibes as we curate our gift shop for cozy season 🍂

Soup sets, whimsical teacups, local history reads, sweet salt and pepper shakers, vintage turkey platters, and SO MANY gravy boats.

Everything in our gift shop has been donated by people downsizing who want someone who appreciates fine things to bring them home. The proceeds support Mackie House and help us deliver our programs.

Our hearts are full from all the very special moments of creation that took place this summer. Our grounds have been filled with artists painting plein air and taking workshops from the Vernon Arts Centre.

Yesterday, Ann, Dusty and Jessica dropped in to paint.

It’s the last day of our summer drop in hours, but artists who would like to create over the fall and winter can reach out to us and visit by appointment. You are welcome here ❤️.

Can you believe that tomorrow is our last concert of the summer? If you're coming to Music at Mackie featuring Jodie B this Thursday, here are a few important things to know:

🍰Bring some cash to get treats from SpecialTea Occasions
🍦Sugarbees Icecream will be there with ice cold pints and cups
🥪Or BYO picnic (but please purchase alcohol from our bar, outside alcohol is not permitted)

🚕 Special event parking is available at Kidston Elementary (the teacher's lot off of Linden Dr) or at Sovereign Park. Parking at Mackie House is reserved for patrons with mobility concerns. If you park on the street, please respect our neighbours.
