Dartmouth Heritage Museum - Evergreen House & Quaker House

Dartmouth Heritage Museum - Evergreen House & Quaker House Where Dartmouth’s heritage is protected, preserved and promoted. We are all Treaty people.

The Dartmouth Heritage Museum (DHM) operates two historic houses: Evergreen House (26 Newcastle Street), and Quaker House (57 Ochterloney Street). Evergreen House is open year round and is the current headquarters of the DHM administrative offices. Quaker House is one of the oldest buildings in Halifax Regional Municipality and is open seasonally (June-August). Throughout the year, there are many

rotating exhibits, heritage events, and historic programming run by the Museum. The Dartmouth Heritage Museum and its historic sites acknowledge that they are located on Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people.
