This repair began with Bill removing the thin lead frame to be able to access the 8 broken panels.
After removing the broken panels, new copper foil was placed on the outer edges and new copper foil on the replacement glass, then soldered in place.
Finally, a new wider zinc frame was placed around the piece. To complete it, solder seams had black patina added, neutralized and polished.
