Howdy Pard'ners!

It's Seniors Month and we are celebrating Classic Country style.

As promised, the fabulous MooreBand is coming to the Drayton Arena, so we hope you've registered already, because we are full up!

Just a reminder that the doors open at 1:30 pm. No reservations, so if you have registered and are coming with a crowd, make sure you send a cowboy ahead to claim your territory! (But there'll be no wrangling over seats, otherwise you'll have to answer to the Sherrif! Yep. she's in town and she's real good at laying down the law!)

Dig out those boots and that classic cowboy hat. Looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor tomorrow.

Anyone up for a little "wagon ride" out to the back forty?

Come on out to the Harriston Seniors’ Centre for Excellence Dining Program, where we’ll be serving up a delicious home-cooked-style dinner with a side of laughs.

Our special guest is former farmer and talented author Donna McCaw, who’ll be stopping by to share a few farm tales, a little country wisdom, and maybe a story or two that’ll have you saying, “Yep, I remember those days!”

Think of it like pulling up a chair at Donna’s kitchen table — good food, good stories, and good company, with no dishes to do afterward.

There's no denying getting older.
No matter how we try to fight it, the days pass and the years creep by.

Perhaps it's time to nix the fight and settle in with grace and wisdom, and a good dose of "let's look after ourselves and enjoy the ride."

Com join us in Mount Forest and let's learn from our special workshop presenter and SCE friend, Christine Platt, from the Waterloo-Wellington Older Adult Council.

Christine will talk to us about the importance of building a support system that can including Personal & Social Networks, Community Engagement, Professional & Health Services, Care Navigators, Geriatric Social Workers and more.

With Kay Ayres as host, it promises to be both an entertaining and informative afternoon. No need to register. No admission. And we don't check ID!
