RCMP Centennial Park was a busy place to be on August 29th as everyone celebrated in W*p May Day & Alberta Day festivities!

Thank you to all of the Town of Edson and Galloway Station Museum staff and volunteers who helped make this day a huge success! A special thanks to Peter Taylor for his enthusiasm in his role as emcee!

The afternoon was full of carnival games, entertainment, train rides, photo ops, races and best of all the pie eating contest! Thanks to all those who joined in the fun. We can't wait to do this again next year!

The Galloway Station Museum has officially switched to our autumn hours. We have said farewell to our wonderful summer students, are now closed on Sundays.
Fall/winter hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 to 5.
Thanks for a lovely, busy summer!

COME WORK WITH US!
We’re looking for a Facility Attendant to join the crew at the Galloway Station Museum, Travel Centre & Archives.

If you’re dependable, don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, and like the idea of working in a place where no two days are quite the same, take a look at the ad for more info!

$19.50/hour - 3.5 days a week and benefits! We're flexible with the schedule, but please note this position entails working MOST Saturdays during the winter months and weekdays during business hours.
Start date: As soon as possible

The Galloway Station Museum, Travel Centre & Archives will close at 4pm on Saturday, August 22 , 2026, for a private function and will reopen at 10 am on Sunday as usual!
