INTRODUCING BEV ZIZZY

Jazz / blues vocalist, acoustic soul singer/songwriter, and recording artist Bev Zizzy has been part of the music scene in Saskatchewan for over four decades. She has been recognized for artistic contributions to her community with a YWCA Woman of Distinction in the Arts Award, and has been frequently supported by Sask Music in her creative endeavours. Her albums, EP’s and single releases are available on all digital streaming platforms.

She is also an extensive global traveler, multi-linguist, dedicated yogi, and an award-winning language teacher (BA.Hon, Soc. BEd,Fr. MEd,Eng).

As a yoga teacher, Bev Zizzy was the founding President of the Saskatchewan Yoga Association in 1976, for which she was acknowledged in the book Om Canada: An Intimate Glimpse at Yoga’s Firsts (V Petrich, 2020). Although her teaching domain eventually shifted from yoga studios to classrooms, she
has continued her yoga studies in several disciplines and countries around the world, and has maintained a lifelong practice.
These studies, along with a keen interest in the genre of kirtan/sacred music - that of creatively interpreting mantras from a diverse range of Eastern mystical traditions -have continued to shape her artistic evolution. This evolution is most apparent in her
ethereal, eight minute long, 2025 single, I’m Already There (in which she also debuts her harmonica), and in her 2024 single September, which is a tribute to nature and its teachings, featuring her acoustic guitar and vocals. This creative mantra inspired
direction will be apparent again in her upcoming 2026 single release, I Can’t Look Away, currently in production. And so, the musical journey continues . . .

🎸 CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT 🎶

We are excited to kick off the 2026/2027 Home Routes Concert Tour with talented Métis country artist Ashley Ghostkeeper live in concert! 🌟

Ashley Ghostkeeper is a natural storyteller who creates a deep connection with her audiences. She draws inspiration from acts like Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans, and The Chicks. Her music has been described as having an "honest, down-to-earth style with an early 2000s country feel."

Ashley is a proud Métis artist from Alberta whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with modern country and roots influences. Deeply connected to self-expression and healing through music, Ashley’s sound features pedal steel, fiddle, keys, and honky-tonk licks, capturing both vulnerability and strength.

Since 2021, she has performed across Canada, from intimate venues to major festivals and arenas, sharing stages with artists including Clay Walker, Jake Owen, High Valley, Aysanabee, Sacha, and The Washboard Union. Her songs have been featured on Apple Music, SiriusXM CBC Country, and top Indigenous playlists, earning three #1 hits on the Canadian Top Indigenous Music Countdown.

Winner of 2025 YYC Music Awards Indigenous Artist of the Year, Ashley has also received multiple nominations including Solo Artist, Songwriter, and Country Recording of the Year.
