First day back at the beach this year and found this.

WOW. I have not posted in over 2 years. I am back sea glass hunting and crafting. I bought a dremel 4 years ago to drill sea glass and finally did it. I have made just one angel and lots of tree ornaments. They are so much fun to make.

I don’t get out to the beach much but yesterday’s half hour was worth it. Not as frosted as I like but still wonderful and my first lavender stopper.

These have been in the window for 4 years. Not all will go to the same shade of purple.

See the pieces in the middle. All these have been sitting in a glass jar for the last 6 months. Pink one was already pink but it is darker. 8 pieces are turning purple and one turning pink. It is very subtle but by end of this year the colours will be more noticeable. See post above for ones that have been in the window for 4 years.

New Nova Scotia sea glass lockets are finally listed in our Etsy shop. We use our best tinies in each locket and we do not find many here on the beaches. So we only have 9 of these beauties available..

Ethan’s and my artwork are very different. He enjoys fitting pieces together like a puzzle and working with sea pottery and sea metal. I prefer sea glass and beach pebbles. I think his designs are amazing and at the same time intriguing as I wonder how did he come up with that. He is only 12.

We finished assembling the display cases. This is going to be a very nice sea glass room.

We spent the last week painting the inside of our Indian Harbour farmhouse. This is the first time Ethan painted and I was so proud that he finished a very difficult and tedious sunroom. He said he enjoyed it because the result was rewarding. Painting done and floors refinished. Now onto decorating.
