Photopolis PHOTOPOLIS: The Halifax Festival of Photography. Coming soon during October 2017 in multiple venues t It is a tri-annual festival happening every three years.

Photopolis is a city wide celebration of photography in Halifax taking place in public and commercial art galleries, artist-run spaces, museums, libraries and alternative venues. Established as a non-profit arts society, Photopolis works collaboratively with participating galleries/venues. The festival includes exhibitions of photography by local, national and international photo based artists --

plus artists' talks, portfolio reviews, special events and a symposium focusing on issues and ideas in contemporary photography.
