We had just a great time last night! Thanks to everyone who came out and shared their evening with us. Wendy MacIsaac gave a perfect keynote address focusing on the connections between Nova Scotia and Scotland highlighting the Ceòlas and Celtic Colours International Festival music festivaks. Thank you to Tania Fuentes and Alex MacCulloch for reading pieces from The Bard. Thank you to Veronica MacIsaac Apparel for sharing history from our annals, to Kevin Dugas and Matthew Phelps for bringing in the haggis, and to Lisa MacArthur and JP MacNeil for the tunes! We're back for our forth year! Let's gather at The Seanchai in The Old Triangle for an evening steeped in tradition, music, and community as we celebrate Robbie Burns Night on Saturday, January 24th, 2026.

Did you know the first Halifax Highland Games was held forty years ago in 1984? It was called the Metropolitan Scottish Festival & Highland Games, and it was put on by The Scots - a Scottish Society. His work includes 11 seasons of the popular Hope for Wildlife TV series and the epic film Bannockburn: Battle of Kings, set in Scotland at the site of the famous 1314 battle.
