Westfield Heritage Village Conservation Area is both a living history museum and a conservation area. The buildings are nestled against the backdrop of 204 hectares of conservation land that features woodlands, meadows and trails. Visitors may enjoy hikes and walks 7 days a week. Throughout the year there are opportunities to see our volunteer interpreters provide demonstration and guided tours. C

Building you wanted to explore but can’t make it to Sunday programming? No problem 👀

Westfield Heritage Village now has new QR code signage at select historic buildings throughout the Village. Simply scan the code to unlock a virtual experience and step back in time.

You can also explore building tours through the Talking Forest app, offering another interactive way to discover historic spaces, hidden artifacts, and stories from early settler life in Canada 📱

at Westfield Heritage Village 👀

Beginning this Sunday, visitors will have a rare opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes artifact spaces not normally open to the public, discover unique pieces from Westfield’s collection, hear stories behind volunteer favourite artifacts, and even test their skills with a historic lock-and-key collection.

We’re also bringing out special clothing pieces, local artwork, and unveiling a few new additions inside the historic buildings. Plus, families can take part in hands-on scrapbook crafts inspired by the long tradition of preserving memories through “scraps.”
