A 12”x12”, Little Lagoon, acrylic on gallery canvas. I painted this spot a few years ago and thought I would give it another go. I remember the day that we walked the trail, vividly. It was very warm and humid. We had taken our puppy down the trail and she was so excited to cool herself here at the water’s edge before we headed back. Such a wonderful memory.

“The Reach”, is the second in a series of paintings. Inspired by the spectacular coniferous trees, in Grundy Lake Provincial Park. Some trees just dominate the landscape with their presence. This 24”x12” acrylic on canvas depicts one of many spectacular landscapes as seen from my kayak on Gut Lake

“Catching Some Rays”. Fresh off the easel this 24”x12” acrylic on canvas, was inspired by blue skies, sun baked rocks of the Canadian Shield up in Georgian Bay and the glorious pine trees with branches that twist and turn as they reach for the sky. This is the first in a series of three that I plan to paint over the next couple of weeks.
