The Philosopher's Stone Art

The Philosopher's Stone Art The Original Stone Vessels of Canada.

“John Shaw-Rimmington is a "waller," a builder of dry stone walls. Like the timber frame buildings they are held together by gravity and friction. John, who lives in Port Hope, had already built two walls close to the farmhouse. He came back and this time turned that field stone into a massive wall between the barn and the lake.

"Stone," he is fond of saying,
"brings together like-minded people." “
