Magrath History and Museum Association

Summer Job Opportunity (8 weeks starting July 2, 2026)

The Magrath History and Museum Association is looking to fill the following position:

Office and support person in the Museum

Responsibilities:
Provide access to the museum for the public.
Provide information to public of local events and activities
Provide cleaning, housekeeping and some yard duties
Accession artifacts onto the on-line data base
Update social media sites and Web pages
Other duties as directed by the Museum Board
Age between 15 - 30 at the start of employment

Works under direction of Magrath History and Museum Association Executive and Board.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Start date: Tuesday July 2, 2025 (negotiable)
End date: Friday Aug 29, 2025 (negotiable)
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour

We would officially thank those of the Friends of the Museum committee that put together this weekends art display and activities. It was wonderful.

We are looking forward to regular summer hours after the Victoria long weekend. Job posting is up for a summer position at the Museum.

Entry is open to all-donations are appreciated but never required. (We now have Tap)

Entry is open to all—donations are appreciated but never required. Help us celebrate our artists and support the museum!

As per By-laws all officers and 5 directors will be elected for an annual term.
We are looking for someone to be nominated for the role of Secretary.
We also have a vacancy for a director.
We are happy to have nominations for all the executive postions and directors on the Board.
